 Please Be Aware There Is A 6.5% Freight Surcharge On All Husqvarna Products in store

Dear Valued Husqvarna Dealer,

 We continue to absorb unprecedented commodity inflation. As the global conflict impacts supply and pricing of crude oil, diesel, and other transportation-related costs, we have made every effort to mitigate these inflationary pressures on the freight prices. Despite these efforts, we can no longer absorb them fully as they continue to rise at unprecedented levels.

As a result of the above-referenced cost increases, Husqvarna will implement a TEMPORARY freight surcharge of 6.5% on ALL SHIPMENTS as of March 31, 2022. We will evaluate these pressures intermittently as updated information about these cost fluctuations becomes available. The surcharge will ONLY be calculated on the product cost and not applicable to any processing charges or taxes.

 In conjunction with the price surcharge, you will find the updated price lists for fuel, oils, lubricants, and select service parts effective March 31, 2022, located on Power within the ‘Sales Support’ section.

 Please know that, as your business partner, we have taken numerous actions and implemented additional measures to mitigate these pressures. We remain committed to reducing the negative impact of these factors to our customer base.

  • Unit pricing is set by suppliers though in special cases dealers may sell for less.

  • Estimates/quotes are valid for 15 days.

  • Prospect Equipment will not hold work order units that have been left for longer than 60 days.

  • Carb kits, electrical items, and special orders are non-returnable.

  • A minimum deposit is required on all units in for repair.

  • Special order parts require pre-payment.

P.D.I (Pre-Delivery Inspection) and Freight are an integral part of your new unit purchase. We feel it is important to disclose the total costs to the customer-exactly why we show the breakout of the P.D.I and Freight charges separately, rather than bundling them in with the sticker price.

  • Assembled by trained technicians

  • Shipping materials & packaging properly discarded and recycled

  • Tested and inspected by a trained technician

  • Products are fueled and all necessary fluids, oils and lubricants added

  • Explanation or demonstration of features and operating procedures

  • Review of maintenance intervals and safety precautions

  • Warranty registration on site
